Setup Instructions

1. Plug in your board

Use the power brick and cable provided to plug in your board. Ensure the LED in the lower left corner labeled "Power" is illuminated red. After a few seconds, all of the LEDs comprising the NYC subway map should light up white.

2. Connect to your Board's WiFi

On your device, search for local Wi-Fi networks and connect to the network named "SubwayBoard".  Password: "1234567S".

Your device should automatically prompt you to a page that asks for a WiFi name and password. If not access the portal by going to "192.168.4.1" in your browser. You should see the screen below:

Here, enter the details for the WiFi network you want to connect the board to. Press "connect". After a few seconds a message will indicate if the board was successfully able to connect.

Note: You must connect the board to a network that supports 2.4ghz devices - most modern home WiFi networks will - but some routers have separate 2.4G and 5G networks.

3. Connect back to your normal WiFi

Within about 30 seconds, your board should light up with Live Metro Map data. Use the "Brightness+", "Brightness-", and "Mode" buttons to adjust your boards display as desired.

Note: If your board lights up in all green, it means it's performing a software update - give it a minute and it should start working! If your board illuminates all red it encountered a repeated error - visit Troubleshooting

And that's it - you should be ready to go!
